Chris Harrison is a musician, teacher, workshop leader and composer with wide musical interests. He is a pianist, guitarist and singer who performs solo and with other groups, including Morrigan. His recent project, Carols from the Coalfields, is settings of poetry by his great-great-grandfather, Joseph Skipsey, a Northumbrian miner, which he performs regularly and is recording on the Global Fusion Music & Arts record label, GFMA Records. He facilitates a number of music groups in his local community in Charlton, and runs workshops on creative music-making, harmony singing, and playing together in mixed instrumental groups.
