MEET THE FOUNDERS
Global Fusion Music & Arts was founded on 15th March 2001 by Louisa Le Marchand, Gill Swan, Kaz Kaozi and Sukh Saini. The four musicians were part of the Fusion Factory Band who released the album ‘Opiate Rhythms’ in 2001 and went on to tour and performed with legendary Congolese musician Papa Wemba. After spending years promoting world music, the four founders decided to set up GFMA to expand the work to other areas including supporting the community.
